Need private company information? Try PrivCo!

PrivCo contains business and financial research for over 700,000 non-publicly traded corporations, including family-owned, private equity-owned, venture-backed and international unlisted companies. Search for venture capital fundings, private M&A deals, private equity deals, and general company information.

PrivCo is available to Ross Students on the Library's A-Z Database page.

IBISWorld Industry Risk Ratings Now Available

This collection of 700+ Risk Ratings Reports (which accompany each NAICS report) analyzes the opportunities and threats affecting an industry in the next 6-18 months.  In conjunction with the Risk Management Association, IBISWorld came up with a risk score for each industry, which determines the difficulty of operating in that industry.

A downloadable spreadsheet of the Risk Scores is available from the main IBISWorld page. Look for the 'US Risk Scores Listing' link.

These reports are available in IBISWorld on the Library's A-Z Database page.

CareerBeam replaces Career Search

CareerBeam has replaced the Career Search interface. The new platform provides a place to manage your job search and career. Use their learning modules to explore career options, plan your career campaign, prepare your resume and prep for interviews so you can get the job. Store all of your plans and documents in your personal account. Use the Job Search feature to find both internships and full time jobs in the industry of your choice.

CareerBeam also provides access to a variety of research tools:

Access to CareerBeam is via UM authentication so you already have a personalized account.

Course Materials and Printed TEXTPAKs for Winter B 2015

Course Materials ordering is underway. If you need to purchase electronic Course Materials or a printed TEXTPAK for your class, follow the instructions from your class CTools site's announcement. 

Digital Course Materials are available immediately after purchasing.

If you ordered an optional printed TEXTPAK you will be notified via email when it is ready for pickup.
TEXTPAKs can be picked up in the Kresge Annex - 102 Legal Research, Law School.
