Analyst Reports now available in S&P CapIQ

 

Kresge Library now subscribes to the Analyst Reports product in S&P CapIQ. This product is available to all Ross users using the  'Reports' tab in the S&P CapIQ interface. Reports are available from a wide variety of contributors, including:

• J.P. Morgan 
• UBS Investment Bank 
• Citigroup Inc
• Jefferies LLC 
• Barclays 
• Deutsche Bank 
• RBC Capital Markets

Users can save searches and personalize lists of contributors to assist in their research. 

Report content is searchable by keyword and can be viewed prior to downloading. Multiple reports can be downloaded at once using the Cart feature, or saved to a Binder for downloading at a later time.

Ross users can request an account and access S&P CapIQ from the Library's A-Z Database Page.

WRDS Downtime Scheduled for August 13, 2025

The WRDS technical infrastructure will be undergoing a major upgrade from 8:00 - 11:00 AM Eastern on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. During this time, most WRDS services will be unavailable.

Remote Database Access Interruption Thursday July 3 at 8am

The Kresge Library proxy server which controls remote access to library databases is scheduled for maintenance this coming Thursday, July 3, 2025 from 8:00-8:30am. During this time, access to the Library's databases using the Ross Users and the Kresge Guest Users links will be unavailable. Users may still access the databases using the UM Users links during this maintenance window.

Kresge Library Services Memorial Day Closure

Kresge Library Services will be closed for Memorial day, Monday May 26, 2025. All services will resume the followinf day, Tuesday May 27, 2025.

Reference and Kresge Learning Services is closed for in-person services Thursday April 10, 2025.

Reference and Kresge Learning Services is closed for in-person services Thursday April 10, 2025 due to ventilation/HVAC malfunction.  We will reopen at 9:00AM on Friday, April 11.

Reference Hours for Week of 3/10

 During the week of March 10, the library will be offering reference services via email and chat only. We will be available to answer requests between noon and 6pm. We will return to normal service hours, including in person reference, the week of March 17.

Due to impending inclement weather, Kresge Library Services In-Person Reference and  Assignment & Exam Pickup/Review will be closing early at 2:00pm on Wednesday, Feb 12 2025.

Kresge Library Winter Break Hour

Kresge Library Services is winding down for the year. The library suite will be closed starting Friday, December 20 through Wednesday, January 1. There will be no Exam Review or Pick Up available during this time

Reference services are available as follows: 

Friday December 20, 10am - 4pm, online only

Monday, December 23, 10am - 4pm, online only

Tuesday, December 24 through Friday, January 3, Library Closed, no reference services

Monday, January 6, 10am, resume normal operations.

Kresge Library Services Hours for Thanksgiving 2024

Kresge Library Services Suite Closed on Wednesday November 27th through the Thanksgiving Holiday.  We will have chat and email reference available on Wednesday November 27th.  We will reopen on Monday December 2nd.

Easier Login for Pitchbook and GlobalData Medical

Pitchbook and GlobalData Medical have both upgraded their login mechanism to work with UM Single Sign-On/IP authentication. Starting today, users will no longer have to provide credentials at either database. Clicking the links on the Library's A-Z Database page will show users the familiar UM login screen and after successful authentication, will pass them directly into the database.

Pitchbook is available to all UM Ann Arbor Users. GlobalData Medical is limited to current Ross users only.

Kresge Library Website Maintenance: Saturday, June 22 from 9am - 2pm

Kresge Library Website will be down for Ross IT network maintenance Saturday, June 22 from 9am - 2pm. While the website will be down:

•  The A-Z Database list will still be available https://kresgeguides.bus.umich.edu/az.php (UM User links only).
• All Ross only users can use the University Library Search and Databases https://search.lib.umich.edu/everything as an alternative.
• Kresge Research Guides will also available https://kresgeguides.bus.umich.edu

LSEG Workspace Now Available

 

You may know it as Thomson Reuters, Thomson ONE, Thomson ONE Banker, Eikon, Refinitiv, Datastream, or SDC Platinum. Now all of these have been rolled into one new platform: LSEG Workspace.

LSEG Workspace is a web based platform providing access to information on global public & private companies including financials and filings analytics, global pricing data, company fundamentals, I/B/E/S® earnings estimate aggregates, Investext analyst reports, league tables, ESG data, and commodity data. LSEG Workspace was previously known as Thomson Reuters, Thomson ONE, Thomson ONE Banker, Eikon, and Refinitiv. Includes data from Datastream, WorldScope and SDC.

You can access LSEG Workspace via the Library's A-Z Database list. Access requires account registration and takes 1 business day to set up.

Kresge Library Closed for In Person Services - Tuesday, May 21 2024

Due to the temporary closure of the Ross School of Business issued by DPSS, Kresge Library's In-Person services will be suspended tod, May 21, 2024.  All online services will still be available and regular services will resume at the scheduled times the following day.   

New Database: CDMNext CEIC Data Manager

CDMNext CEIC Data Manager provides access global economic data, focusing on emerging economies and includes data set cover macroeconomic, financial and industry data across more than 200 countries.

The interface allow users to create interactive charts of individual or combined data series and download charts (XLS, PDF, PNG, JPG) and series data in Excel, CSV or MatLib formats.

Portfolio Management Research Journals Now Available

 

Portfolio Management Research (PMR), formerly Institutional Investor Journals, is the leading provider of independent financial research for all within the investment sector. The collection provides access to all 14 journals from PMR, including: Journal of Portfolio Management, Journal of Investing, Journal of Derivatives, Journal of Impact and ESG Investing, and Journal of Fixed Income.

D&B Hoover's Unavailable March 26th

 Between 09:00 am US Eastern Time, March 26th and 09:00 pm US Eastern Time, March 26th, D&B Hoovers is migrating to a new cloud platform. During this time, D&B Hoover's will be taken offline and will be inaccessible. D&B expects all systems to be fully operational by 09:00 pm US Eastern Time, March 26th.
