Tashia Marie Munson on behalf of Library Operations Outreach
The library is once again participating in an end-of-semester book donation drive with the organization Textbooks for Change, in a collaboration with the organization's campus student ambassador Emma Smith. (Note: This campaign is unrelated to U-M Library's existing contract with Better World Books.) The goal of this drive will be for student donations to provide affordable and accessible educational material to local and global students in need. Students will be able to donate their used textbooks until the end of the semester at the following library locations:
- Shapiro Undergraduate Library, 919 University Ave S
- Harlan Hatcher Graduate Library, 913 University Ave S
- Fine Arts Library, Tappan Building, 519 State St S, room 260
- Music Library, Earl V. Moore Building, School of Music, Theatre and Dance, 1100 Baits Dr
- Art, Architecture, and Engineering Library, Duderstadt Center
There are also drop boxes located at the School of Social Work and in Dow. Additional information about the Textbooks for Change can be found on their website, textbooksforchange. com.
If you have any questions or notice the drop boxes are filled past capacity, please contact the Library Operations Outreach Team at libraryoperationsoutreach@ umich.edu.
